Job Description

The Recreation Ambassador will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and assisting guests with recreational equipment. The Recreation Attendant will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.

This postion is open seasonally for both full time and part time hours.

The Recreation Attendant will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Must maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards all owners and guests
  • Cater to the needs and special requests of all owners and guests
  • Assists guests and owners with recreation activities (bikes, canoes/kayaks and other equipment)
  • Assists guests and owners with access to the Caldera Links and Golf Park, including club rentals and cart usage
  • Ensure guests have proper safety equipment for all recreational activities
  • Must be able to function alone as well as an effective team member.
  • Perform opening and closing duties of the recreational amenities and golf course

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year customer service experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Must be highly detailed orientated
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Red Cross/CPR Certified (SRLP will provide training).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking;
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance;
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and occasional squeezing & overhead reaching;
