Recreation Attendant

Department: Spa & Recreation

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Egypt - Safaga

Reporting To: Recreation Supervisor

Delivering superior guest service and immediate guest satisfaction. Providing a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service consistent with the standards of the hotel and in line with Kempinski’s DNA values in order to encourage sales and maximize guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Opening and closing procedures for the Pool & Beach area.
Maintaining a clean and organized pool area environment.
Preparing culinary snacks and drinks
Taking orders and serving guests.
Cleaning of bar and service area.
Reporting technical difficulties to the maintenance department.
Ordering of food and beverage items from the storage area.
Controlling inventory of towels, bathrobes, and kitchen towels.
Ordering pool supplies.
Cost control of pool income and expenses.
Cleaning of fitness equipment.
Reporting maintenance issues to the engineering department.
Assisting guests with workout tools and equipment.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Preferably in an international, luxury five-star hotel.
English: excellent communication skills.
