Responsibilities:

As the Recreation Attendant at La Cabana Beach Resort and Casino, you'll play a multifaceted role in ensuring guest satisfaction and enjoyment. Responsibilities include maintaining proper attire and grooming standards, managing telephone calls, and acting as the Master of Ceremonies for various events.

You'll attentively execute scheduled activities, assist guests with inquiries. Additionally, you'll organize birthday parties, uphold cleanliness in the Activities center, and manage important records.

Working closely with children to enhance their experience, you'll oversee equipment and tools' maintenance and handle special assignments as directed by the Recreation Manager.

Qualifications:

• Friendly, flexible, and professional demeanor.
• Entertainer.
• Self starter and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Public speaking skills.
• Proficient in English, Spanish, and preferably other languages.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with activities-related software.
• Knowledgeable about local customs, festivities, and special events.
• Comfortable handling financial transactions and physical tasks.

Education/Experience:

• Experience working with adults, children and youngsters, with patience and understanding.
• Prior service-oriented industry experience preferred.
• EPI hotel sector certification and high school diploma required.
