Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Scheduled work locations include both the Riva Row and Lakes Edge Boat House(s) and Swans at the Mall.
Always works under supervision.
Welcome and assist visitors or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
Perform cash handling duties, make change, and input fees and issues receipts. Record amount received and prepare report of transactions using computer software.
Monitor users of Boat House facilities and participants in recreation programs to ensure orderly conduct.
Assist patrons in and out of the watercraft.
Provide information on programs, activities and events in person or by phone.
Utilize company software to enroll customers in programs.
Perform facility opening and closing procedures, such as ensuring the facility is secure, and set-up and break-down for programs, equipment is picked-up etc.
Assist with recreation programs, activities, special projects and events as required.
Must meet and maintain the requirements of the driver safety policy.

Education: Less than high school education.
Experience: No related experience or training required.
Scheduling and Physical Demands:
Must be available to work a schedule that will include morning, afternoon and evening hours, weekends and holidays.
Position requires heavy lifting or moving of the kayaks of up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to work CISD Spring Break (March 7-15, 2026)
Must be able to work the following holiday weekends: Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day, and Labor Day weekend.
Age Requirement: Must be 16 years of age or older by hire date.
Safety-Sensitive: This position is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug testing.
