Recovery Worker

Location: Milton Keynes

Working Hours: 37 hours (full-time)

Friday Saturday and Sunday only with one sleep in over the weekend. Core hour shifts between 8AM to 10PM.

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,877.80 - £30,868.31

Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.

About You

You'll enjoy working as part of a supportive team, building positive relationships and adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each person. You will be confident communicating with a wide range of people and be able to remain calm, professional and solution-focused, even in challenging situations.

What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you'll provide practical and emotional support to people accessing our services, helping them to build confidence, develop life skills and improve their overall wellbeing.

You'll:

• Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
• Deliver person-centred support that focuses on strengths, aspirations and individual goals.
• Encourage independence by supporting people to develop everyday life skills, such as budgeting, accessing local services and becoming involved in their communities.
• Promote physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, helping people to make informed choices about their lives.
• Empower individuals to have choice, control and an active voice in decisions that affect them.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure people receive coordinated, high-quality support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with organisational policies and GDPR requirements.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and risk management procedures to help create a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
• Contribute positively to the day-to-day running of the service and work effectively as part of a supportive team.
