About the opportunity
This is a rewarding opportunity to support participants engaged in the service and build professional, trusting relationships and empower them along their journey towards recovery.
As our new Recovery Worker, your role will see you working alongside participants and supporting them to achieve their own identified goals. Additionally, you will facilitate group sessions and work alongside your team members to support day-to-day operations of the Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) service environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, including clinical staff and alongside team members who have lived and living experience of mental health challenges. Most importantly, you share our vision of delivering exceptional service and achieving the best possible outcomes for participants.
We’re looking for someone who can work flexibly across our 24/7 roster, including sleepover shifts. Sleepover shifts include active support until midnight, an overnight sleepover component, and active morning support and handover. Penalty rates apply for relevant shifts completed.
What do you need?
About the program
PARCs are located in a community setting and provide an option for people who are becoming unwell, or who are in the early stages of recovery from an acute illness and need a short period of additional support to strengthen their gains from spending time in an inpatient setting and to consolidate their community transition and recovery treatment plans. The recovery model is the centre of all that we do.
