In this role, you will participate as a team member in the delivery of behavioral health outpatient treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED and participation in the Peer Recovery Training Program
  • Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) is preferred
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of the emotional, psychological, and practical aspects of navigating mental health and wellness
  • Ability to coordinate and present lectures for clients, parents, and community resources
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements
  • Must have own transportation
  • Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance

Responsibilities

  1. Work hours prescribed and any additional hours-deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned
  2. Provide appropriate behavioral interventions and advocacy for individuals with substance use disorders using trauma-informed practices, including facilitation of support
  3. Provide support services for individuals receiving harm reduction services, including screening, referral, linkage to care, and warm hand-offs to other service providers (behavioral health treatment, medical care, housing, and other psychosocial services)
  4. Assist with trainings and distribution of opioid overdose reversal
  5. Have a thorough understanding of community resources and Rosecrance full array of programs and services
  6. Attend trainings toward CRSS credential
  7. Participate in harm reduction advisory council meetings as assigned
  8. Participate in statewide events/summits/trainings/activities that support the education and development of consumer provider services
  9. Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, team meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
  10. Serve as a member of the assigned team and participate in all team meetings and activities
  11. Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional code of conduct and within the framework of the law
  12. Facilitate transportation of clients to Rosecrance buildings or hospitals as needed
  13. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer
  14. Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency
  15. Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management

Schedule

  • Days Full-time; Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Hours 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation

  • Starting Pay ( based on education, experience, and credentials)
    • HS/GED - $21.57 per hour
    • Associate’s - $22/67 per hour
    • Bachelor’s - $23.70 per hour
  • Shift differentials
    • Second shift: +$.25/hr.
    • Third shift: +$.50/hr.
  • Incentives:
    • Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, or CPS): +$0.72/hour (equivalent of +$1,500 annualized)
