Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a high school degree, a genuine desire to help others, and a stable job history. Applicants must also possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to pass a comprehensive background check. Education in a human services field or residential treatment environment is preferred but not required. Additionally, candidates will be required to work at least ONE weekend day per week.
Salary and Benefits
ASAC offers competitive compensation starting at $18.90/hour with additional compensation for evening, overnight, and weekend differentials. Licensed by the Iowa Department of Public Health's Division of Behavioral Health and accredited by CARF, ASAC’s team of Certified Prevention Specialists, counselors and direct care staff follow the continuum of care to ensure individuals and communities are safe, healthy and drug-free.
Serving more than 3,300 individuals per year across a seven-county service area, ASAC offers treatment using a whole-person approach including specialized services for adolescents, pregnant women, mothers with children and adults.
ASAC is part of the IDPH Integrated Provider Network, with services funded by the Iowa Department of Public Health and the US Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
