Job Description

Recovery Specialist — Residential Recovery Program

Aldan, PA | $18/hour | Full-Time

Make a real difference in people's recovery journeys. As a Recovery Specialist with Chimes' Residential Recovery Program, you'll walk alongside residents as they rebuild daily living skills, work toward independence, and create healthier futures — all in a small, supportive team environment with a manageable caseload of 4–5 residents.

Shifts Available

  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
  • Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Guide residents through daily living skills — self-care, budgeting, and medication education
  • Provide supportive, recovery-oriented counseling grounded in best practices
  • Help maintain a safe, welcoming home through light housekeeping and meal prep
  • Drive residents to appointments and activities using a program van
  • Administer medications in line with DPW standards
  • Respond calmly and confidently in crisis moments
  • Keep accurate documentation and billable service records
  • Advocate for residents and model healthy communication and conflict resolution
  • Partner with your program coordinator and team to support each resident's individual goals

What You'll Bring

  • Associate's degree with 1 year of human services experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Strong communicator who thrives both independently and on a team
  • A compassionate, flexible, recovery-oriented mindset
  • Comfort managing a small caseload (4–5 residents)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to transport residents
