As a Recovery Home Specialist, you will play a meaningful role in supporting men who are working toward lasting recovery in a sober living environment at a Rosecrance recovery home. In this position, you will provide daily support and supervision to residents while facilitating skill-building and community groups that promote accountability, personal growth, and healthy living. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver addiction treatment services to clients and their families while encouraging residents to apply recovery principles in their everyday lives. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by helping individuals build the skills and confidence needed to sustain long-term recovery.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver’s
  • Skilled in behavioral management techniques
  • Assist clients with accessing services and integrating in to the community.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the behavior of the residents and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills.
  • Develop and present all resident education.
  • Supervise all daily activities, including house jobs, study halls, shopping, cooking meals, free time, etc.
  • Consult with other staff members and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift.
  • Facilitate focal group discussion sessions as needed.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as treatment plan reviews, shift meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
  • Ensure that patient service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations.
  • If designated, monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical log.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies.
  • Serve as a member of the Rosecrance Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.

Schedule:

  • Hours: Monday -Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Rosecrance Jackson Centers, Sioux City, Iowa

Work Mode: On-site

Compensation and Rewards

  • Starting Pay (Based on education, experience, and credentials)
    • $18.43 per hour - High School Diploma
    • $19.37 per hour - Associate's Degree
    • $20.25 per hour - Bachelor's Degree
  • Shift differentials
    • Second shift: +$.25/hr.
    • Third shift: +$.50/hr.
  • Incentives:
    • Certification- tCADC/CADC/IADC- $1,500 annually
