Location: GP Surgeries across Lewisham & Main Office (Forest Hill)
Working Hours: 37 hours
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,690 - £34,730

Are you passionate about supporting people through their recovery journey and improving health outcomes in the community? We’re looking for a dedicated GP Shared Care Recovery Coordinator to join our Lewisham Primary Care team.

About the Role

As a key member of our service, you will manage a caseload of adult service users receiving treatment in both GP Shared Care (GPSC) and Primary Care Recovery settings. This includes working directly within GP practices as well as at our main office in Forest Hill.

You will provide person-centred, evidence-based interventions to service users accessing support with:

  • OST (Opioid Substitution Therapy)

  • Alcohol use

  • Non-opiate substance use

  • Combined alcohol and non-opiate needs

Your work will include:

  • Delivering structured 1-to-1 support and harm minimisation advice

  • Developing and reviewing personalised recovery plans

  • Empowering service users to set and achieve recovery goals safely

  • Working collaboratively with GPs, healthcare professionals, and wider social care networks

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • Passionate about supporting individuals through recovery

  • Able to build positive, professional working relationships

  • Skilled in delivering tailored interventions and motivational support

  • Keen to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams

Experience in substance misuse services or similar support roles is desirable.

Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.
