Job Description

To ensure that the Records Management system within the company is used effectively.

To monitor, control processes and be responsible for accurately, securely and effectively managing information and ensure that quality is maintained.

  • Benchmark, draft and implement a Records Management operating model and governance framework.
  • Draft requisite records management, disposal and retention guidelines aligned to business unit Records Management requirements and group requirements and strategy, operational priorities, and stakeholder needs.
  • Support business profitability by identifying and delivering sustainable cost-saving opportunities through efficient records management practices.
  • Evaluate current records management practices, identify gaps and risks, and implement leading practices to strengthen compliance and effectiveness.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships which enhance collaboration, drive delivery, and improve end-to-end work outcomes.
  • Provide expert Records Management guidance and advisory support to stakeholders, ensuring consistent application of standards and policies.
  • Regularly reconcile records repositories and systems.
  • Capture, maintain, and preserve evidence of business activities and transactions in the form of records, and provide Records Management training.
