Agile Decision Sciences (ADS,) a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Records Management Specialist for our San Francisco location, supporting a nationwide contract providing library and records management services to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Requirements:
• BA/BS in information management-related field is strongly preferred; Associate-level degrees will be considered.
• Three years records management experience, including filing paper and electronic records, entering data into records management systems, preparing records for disposition or retirement, and using records retention schedules;
• Experience with MS Office applications.
• Customer service skills and strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to work independently and on teams, to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, to prioritize and manage multiple on-going projects, to quickly adapt to change, and to meet deadlines;
• Ability to pass a government background investigation which requires Permanent Residency or US Citizenship.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job which include lifting, bending, kneeling, standing; ability to lift 40-50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
• Use a records management system (database) for search, retrieval, and data entry.
• Apply records retention schedules to files for the purposes of retention, archiving and dispositioning.
• Prepare and review file plans.
• Respond to customer inquiries, participate in records organization projects, provide basic records training, and assists with records imaging.
• Maintain daily activity statistics and produce detailed monthly activity reports.
