Seeking an individual with entry level administration skills.

About the Role:

Records Management & Data is responsible for system management maintenance in a high risk child safety environment. This includes paper and digital records.

The key objectives of the role include:

  • Maintaining and developing audit schedules based on business requirements.
  • Maintaining Client Records Management, any financial reporting, any government based portal or reporting mechanisms.
  • Developing and implementing any key documentation processes outlined by Principal Officer.
  • Reviewing and maintaining any key policies and procedures that relate to records and information management.
  • Key point of contact for BACS with any subpoenas or information requests.
  • Responsible for escalating key areas of non-compliance or concern in writing to Operational Manager and Principal Officer
  • Maintaining all onboarding and offboarding access to employees for all BACS data bases.
  • Managing the divisional induction process for all new employees – or as required by Operations Manager and Principal Officer

Essential Criteria:

  • Sound level of numeracy & literacy skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • High level of interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands.
  • High level of computer literacy including a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and ability to use Biripi’s CYP information management applications and systems.
  • Ability to navigate, maintain, and input data into Child and Carer related data bases to minimise non-compliance and abatements including but not client CRM, government databases and portals and any internal system.
  • Ability to hold all relevant security clearances including National Police Check and Working with Children clearance.
  • Current valid Driver’s licence.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
