Job Description

The Records Intern will partner with local records staff to assist in processing all client and matter files for either scanning, onsite or offsite storage, retrieval or tracking of client and matter files, and file destruction. This position will also process client and matter file information into the Automated Records Management System (ARMS).
Where You'll Work
The Records Intern role is an hourly non-exempt position and will work part-time (approximately 25-35 hours per week) at our Sarasota, Florida office.
What You'll Do
  • Observe internal Records Department procedures, in addition to the firm’s Records Retention Policy procedures and schedules
  • Prepare documents for scanning (removing staples, paper clips, etc.)
  • Scan documents using multi-function printer
  • Review scanned documents for accuracy
  • Save scanned documents in iManage using firm standardized naming conventions
  • Coordinate with local records staff to complete assignments
  • Utilize computer applications such as iManage, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and 3E

  • Minimum of high school diploma
  • Strong communication, organizational, and results focus skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to work well under pressure with patience and diplomacy
