Record to Report Specialist
On site- Queretaro Technical Center, Parque Industrial O'Donnell
• Perform month‑end close (MEC) activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries and GL Reconciliations
• Analize balance sheet and P&L accounts, including but not limited to: Accrued Expenses, Prepaids, Cash & Banks, Payroll, Fixed Assets. Equity revaluation (gain/loss), Intercompany
• Prepare financial data and reports for management and reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare budgets and forecast using accurate information to support decision making
• Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards, leveraging Power BI and Excel to monitor performance, quality, and timeliness of R2R activities.
• Actively identify, propose, and support continuous improvement initiatives, including standardization, automation, and reduction of manual activities
•Support audits by preparing documentation, reconciliations, and explanations in line with SOX/internal control requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, master's degree related is a plus
• 3–5 years of experience in Record to Report, General Accounting, or similar role
• Experience with reconciliations
• Fluent Business‑level English required (written and verbal communication)
• Solid understanding of US GAAP / IFRS (desirable)
• ERP experience (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in an SSC, KPI‑driven environment
• Strong experience supporting internal and external audits, proven knowledge of SOX and NIFS
• Advance Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables); Excel macros is a strong plus
• Experience using Power BI for reporting, KPI tracking, and financial analysis (is a plus)
• Blackline proficiency (desirable)
