We are inviting you to join one of our General Ledger Accounting Teams and ensure that accounting standards are maintained in compliance with accounting policies. As GL Accountant you will be preparing financial reports, analyzing key trends and variances, and creating clear and concise narratives.

What you will be responsible for:

• Performing analysis and preparing commentary for close and period-end reporting and supporting with preparation and filing of statutory accounts

• Reviewing monthly/quarterly balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations, and ensuring they are done in a timely manner and in accordance with the accounting policy

• Ensuring compliance with internal policies throughout all areas of accounting

• Managing routine journals and preparing exceptional journals within Balance Sheet account

• Direct and indirect tax reporting

• Managing fixed Asset Accounting, including Transfer and Split Asset Accounting

About you:

• 2+ years of experience in the field of accounting

• Good knowledge and understanding of Close & Period End Reporting, Balance Sheet Account reconciliations, and General Ledger Accounting

• Advanced English language skills; any additional language would be an advantage

• SAP proficiency or prior experience is highly preferred

• Good communication skills: the ability to clearly articulate expectations and outcomes with various levels of management, both in Finance and Business

The gross monthly salary for this role is between 2400 and 3400 EUR gross, with the final offer reflecting your qualifications and experience.
