Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Reconstruction Helper / Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn skilled trades and build a long-term career in the construction, restoration, and remodeling industry.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced reconstruction professionals on residential and commercial restoration projects involving drywall repair, painting, flooring installation, finish carpentry, and general construction. If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and want steady year-round work with opportunities for advancement, we would love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Assist with drywall installation, patching, repairs, and finishing
- Help prepare and apply texture finishes
- Assist with interior painting, touch-ups, and wall repairs
- Support flooring installation and repair projects, including laminate, vinyl, and other flooring materials
- Assist with finish carpentry projects, including trim, baseboards, doors, and moldings
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Perform job site setup, cleanup, and debris removal
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, especially in occupied homes and businesses
- Learn restoration and reconstruction best practices from experienced technicians
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, customers, and team members
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
What We're Looking For
- Construction, remodeling, handyman, painting, drywall, flooring, or carpentry experience is helpful but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently
- Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments
- Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials throughout the workday
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass a background check

Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
