Position Responsibilities
• Perform daily reconciliations of securities holdings, cash balances, and cash transactions across investment portfolios to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies by partnering with internal stakeholders, custodians, and external service providers.
• Monitor and review reconciliation exceptions, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Support business governance activities through reporting, analysis, and participation in team and stakeholder meetings.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance operational efficiency through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in projects, system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and other transformation initiatives impacting investment operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support audit, compliance, SOX, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and support to junior team members and new hires when needed.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Investments, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in reconciliation, investment operations, securities administration, banking, or a related financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of investment products, securities instruments, cash management, and financial transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in investment accounting or investment operations.
• Knowledge of reconciliation and investment platforms such as SimCorp Dimension, Bloomberg, DUCO, or custodian reporting systems.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, VBA, robotics, automation tools, or data analytics solutions
• Professional certifications such as CISI or equivalent investment-related credentials.
• Experience supporting process improvement, transformation, or automation initiatives.
• Exposure to audit, regulatory, compliance, or SOX-controlled environments.
