to ensure the global growth of HYROX is legally sound and future-proof, we are looking for dedicated Legal Trainees (m/f/d) for their Legal or Elective Stage (Anwalts- oder Wahlstation) in our Legal Department. With us, you are not a passive spectator: From day one, you will work directly on real cases in international sports, contract, and media law, supporting our Legal Team in day-to-day operations. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contract Drafting & Negotiation Support: Active participation in drafting, reviewing, and revising international contracts (e.g., sponsorship, partner, service provider, and licensing agreements) in German and English.
• Legal Research: Independent research on complex questions in sports law as well as general civil and corporate law.
• Intellectual Property and Trademark: Supporting our Legal Team in filing, monitoring, and defending our global trademarks and IP rights, as well as licensing them.
• Internal Legal Advice & Interface Work: Close collaboration with departments such as Marketing, Sports, Sales, and Event Ops to clarify daily legal questions in the operational event business.
• Compliance & Legal Operations: Assisting in the optimization of internal legal processes, guidelines, and standard templates for our global subsidiaries.

YOUR PROFILE

• Successful 1st State Exam: Impressive 1st Legal State Exam (1. Juristisches Staatsexamen) with solid knowledge of civil and commercial law; prior knowledge of sports or IP law is a plus.
• Commitment & Station: Admission to legal clerkship (Referendariat) and the desire to complete your Anwalts- oder Wahlstation with us in our Hamburg office.
• Practical & Structured Approach: Understanding of business contexts, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and concisely.
• Team Spirit & Communication Skills: High initiative, reliability, and enthusiasm for a dynamic, international working environment.
• Language Skills: Business fluent, excellent written and spoken English for daily work in an international context. Experience abroad is a plus.
