POSITION SUMMARY

The Receptionnist is responsible for welcoming guests and assisting them throughout their stay at the hotel. They handle check-in and check-out formalities, billing, and payments. They respond to guest requests during their stay, provide information, offer assistance, and help resolve any problems or complaints. Depending on service needs, they may be required to work various shifts.

SPECIFIC MISSIONS:

  • Responsibilities:
  • Warmly welcomes guests upon arrival at the hotel, addressing them by name when known and in accordance with brand standards (the “15/5” rule);
  • Handles check-in formalities by confirming with the guest the reservation details (room type, length of stay, reserved package);
  • Ensures guest identity and complies with legal requirements (ID verification);
  • Ensures adequate payment guarantee (by card or cash) for the entire stay;
  • Presents all hotel services to guests, including outlets, available services, and opening hours;
  • Offers guests a paid upgrade to a higher room category to generate additional revenue;
  • Upon completion of the check-in, thanks the guest for choosing our property and indicates the direction to their room;
  • Requests the bell team to handle luggage and assists in the absence of colleagues;
  • Promotes the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program in all interactions with guests;
  • Ensures a seamless and personalized digital guest experience via GXP Empower and the Mobile Control Panel;
  • Follows billing instructions for special arrangements (agencies, tour operators, companies);
  • For prepaid reservations, ensures that the guest’s credit card is charged in compliance with current standards and procedures;
  • During guest check-out, ensures their stay went well or gathers feedback on any issues encountered;
  • Prepares the final invoice and reviews the charges with the guest;
  • Handles the payment of the stay based on the specific arrangements of the booking and closes the invoice;
  • Warmly thanks the guest for choosing our hotel and invites them to consider staying with us again in the future;
  • Manages their cash float, ensuring that all cash inflows and outflows correspond to payments made and that there are no discrepancies;
  • In case of an incident during the guest’s stay, manages the resolution or refers the matter to their supervisor if it exceeds their scope of responsibility;
  • Communication:
  • Communicates with colleagues and guests using clear, appropriate, and professional language;
  • Assists colleagues in their work;
  • Communicates service needs or incidents to colleagues discreetly, away from guest areas;
  • Answers the phone using standard greetings within three rings, with a warm and friendly tone, and uses the guest’s name whenever possible;
  • Provides information to guests in person, by phone, email, and chat;
  • Procedures and Standards:
  • Protects the privacy and confidentiality of guest and colleague information;
  • Follows all company and/or departmental procedures;
  • Human Resources Management:
  • Ensures that all mandatory internal and Marriott International virtual trainings are completed;

Offer details:

  • Status : Employee – Niveau III – Echelon 1
  • Trial period : two months (renewable once)
  • Weekly working hours : 39 hours contract
  • Gross monthly salary scale : 1.950,00€ - 2.100,00€

Its purpose is to allow employees to share in the company’s results.
