Position Summary

Create the confidence that begins every pet’s stay. As a Wooflands Receptionist at Wooflands Pet Care Center in McMurray, you will shape the guest experience through warm hospitality, accurate reservations, thoughtful communication, and precise coordination of pet care services. Your attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs will help guests feel their pets are in capable hands while giving you the opportunity to build valuable expertise in luxury hospitality, guest relations, and front-desk operations.

What You Will Create

  • A welcoming arrival and departure experience through personalized service, accurate guest information, and thoughtful coordination with the teams caring for each pet
  • Seamless access to the right pet care experience by coordinating reservations, grooming and daycare appointments, activities, group programs, and related guest needs
  • Confidence in each pet’s readiness for service by verifying required vaccinations and coordinating documentation with owner-provided veterinarians
  • A precise and trustworthy financial experience through accurate billing, payment processing, daily accounting, closing reports, and end-of-shift reconciliation
  • Stronger department performance by identifying opportunities to recommend appropriate services and upgrades, support retail sales, and contribute to inventory and sales goals
  • Clear communication that keeps guests, service providers, and colleagues informed through responsive calls, messages, accurate information, and thoughtful follow-through
  • A polished front-desk environment through organized records, accurate data entry, cleanliness, and attention to current department and resort information
  • A strong foundation for a hospitality career by developing expertise in guest relations, reservations, service recovery, financial accuracy, sales, and operational coordination

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior desk, customer service, or recreational experience preferred, with basic computer skills
  • Ability to learn and accurately perform reservation, data-entry, cash-handling, and accounting procedures, including basic mathematical functions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
