The venue is a Vibrant entertainment hub featuring three function rooms, a 120-seat bistro, dedicated TAB, 100 EGMs, and multiple bars.

About the role

We are seeking a part-time Receptionist to join the team on a 6-month temporary contract. As the first point of contact for members and guests, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming, professional environment. You’ll manage enquiries across phone, email, and in person, while keeping front-of-house operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing incoming calls and general enquiries with a warm, professional manner
• Greeting and directing visitors to the venue
• Monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness
• Coordinating mail, deliveries, and loading bay activity
• Providing general administrative and clerical support, including document preparation
• Maintaining a tidy, well-presented reception area
• Assisting with enquiries, problem-solving, and managing guest concerns

About you

You’re an experienced Receptionist who thrives in a busy environment and
genuinely enjoys helping people. You bring a polished, friendly presence and
take pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

You will also bring:

• Exceptional customer service skills and a professional phone manner
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
