Job Description

This role is responsible for the reception area of the salon and spa. Includes the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding salon/spa services and booking all appointments.

  • Provide courteous guest service to all guests.
  • Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
  • Schedules appointments accurately.
  • Must be able to handle the computer system and all cash handling procedures.
  • Answer phones promptly and friendly.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of all spa treatments and salon services.
  • Restock retail items.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Participate and attend in all training classes and staff meetings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reception desk and/or salon/spa experience preferred.
  • Fast paced environment. Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills.
  • Must be capable of multitasking efficiently to increase company production and sales.
  • Must be detail oriented, friendly, outgoing and have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to tolerate a close-knit environment with constant co-work involvement.
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to lift items up to 10 lbs.
  • Able to stand for a long period of time (up to an average 10-hour shift).
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
  • Respond calmly in a crisis and in demanding situations handling many guests needs in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Preference is given to qualified Rincon tribal members and members of other federally recognized tribes.
