Join NADAP’s exciting new Pathways for Access to Careers and Employment (PACE) program in Brooklyn helping New Yorkers build their employment skills and careers! In this role, you’ll deliver hands-on career guidance, skills training, credential support, and job placement services all while making a real difference in your community. To provide administrative support to PACE program, and management, complete variousprojects to assist in the achievement of program goals. Responsible for front desk duties including greeting all incoming clients and visitors, answering and routing calls, and other clerical tasks as required.Provide assistance in the following areas: scoring of assessments, collecting documents for time keeping, attendance tracking.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for all front desk duties including answering phones, monitoring sign-in sheet and checking clients in and out of the program.
  • Monitor and maintain waiting area and inform management of any client security-related issues immediately.
  • Responsible for collection of participants' timekeeping documentation in both hard copy and electronic form, reviewing documentation carefully to ensure documentation is in compliance with program policies and procedures.
  • Assist with scanning, and making copies for clients, staff and program needs, including scanning and copies of handouts and other materials for daily orientation and other workshops.
  • Assist with transit card distribution to eligible clients and obtain client signatures in the transit card log.
  • Assist with attendance tracking and meeting timekeeping deadlines for all PACE clients and ensure accuracy of reporting engagement activities.
  • Assist Management with data analysis and reconciliations, as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of experience.
  • Must have excellent customer service and presentation skills.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills.
  • Experience working with similar client population a plus.
  • Working in an automated on-line system, demonstrates proficiency in use of applied information technology and on-line database systems; demonstrates keyboarding speed proficiency and accuracy preferred for a paperless case management system.
  • Some prior professional experience working within a community-based organization or the government sector, directly serving an under-resourced population required.
  • Experience working with public assistance population preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with the disability population preferred.
  • Experience working in employment services or in social service-related field preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work a flexible weekday schedule and to travel to various locations to carry out assigned duties.
  • Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Salary $43,000
