Job Description

Anglicare is seeking a warm and professional Receptionist to support our Community Services team across Western Sydney. We have 1 role that is permanent part-time based on 2 days in Parramatta (Wednesday & Friday), with 1 day rotating between other locations. Looking for something more casual? we have additional receptionist casual opportunities available for someone to work as a receptionist over the next 3 months across all our locations in western sydney close to train stations.


As the first point of contact, you will provide a welcoming and supportive experience for clients accessing our services. Our clients may be experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, or transitioning from the justice system, so confidence working with vulnerable people and handling sensitive situations with empathy is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional and welcoming reception service

  • Respond to enquiries and direct clients to appropriate services

  • Support day-to-day site administration and operations

  • Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

About You

  • Experience in a reception or administrative role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable engaging with diverse and vulnerable client groups

  • Calm, empathetic and able to manage challenging situations

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
