Fruitways is a leading agri-business in South Africa. We specialise in the growing, packing and marketing of apples and pears to retailers, traders and wholesalers around the globe.

RECEPTIONIST

We have a career opportunity for an independent and reliable individual who can represent the company in a professional manner. Reporting to the HR Practitioner on site, you will be based at our Molteno packhouse in the Grabouw area.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the switchboard, reception area and meeting rooms while maintaining courteous and professional interactions with all visitors as well as internal correspondence.
• Controlling and issuing of stationery and office supplies.
• General administrative duties; including Health and Safety filing, HR data capturing and issuing of purchase orders, ensuring all relevant administration is accurate, up to date and accessible.
• Oversee and monitor office cleaning and schedule.
• Food Safety system filing and document control.

Requirements:

• Grade 12, tertiary admin or similar qualification will be advantageous
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ working experience in reception or administrative position
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook and Excel (Intermediate level essential).
• Effective and professional written and verbal communications skills
• Presentable with a strong customer focus and ability to be patient and polite at all times
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and organise independently
