West Little Rock law firm is seeking an experienced Receptionist / Legal Assistant to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, is highly organized, and has prior experience supporting attorneys in a litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls professionally
• Greet clients and visitors
• Manage attorney calendars and schedule appointments
• Maintain and monitor court deadlines and litigation calendars
• Track hearings, filing deadlines, discovery deadlines, and other critical dates
• Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents
• Open and maintain client files
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Assist attorneys with case management and trial preparation
• Maintain electronic and physical case files
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and documents

Qualifications

• Previous Receptionist experience a must
• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or Litigation Assistant preferred
• Must have experience with court calendaring and deadline management
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal terminology
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Experience with case management software is a plus
