We're looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our fantastic team in a full-time role. This is an opportunity to become a true pillar of the clinic, building relationships with clients, supporting our clinical team, and making a real difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.

About the Role

This is a full-time Receptionist position where you'll be the heart of the client experience and an integral part of the clinic's success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting clients and patients on arrival
  • Answering phone calls and managing enquiries
  • Booking appointments using our practice management system
  • Processing payments and managing receipting
  • Managing client emails and correspondence
  • Preparing patient admission paperwork
  • Completing banking and general administrative duties
  • Assisting with patient triage (training provided)
  • Providing general advice regarding vaccinations, nutrition, and parasite prevention
  • Preparing estimates for elective procedures
  • Supporting the veterinary and nursing teams with day-to-day clinic operations

You'll work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where no two days are the same, and where your customer service skills will truly shine.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a reception, administration, or customer service role
  • Understands the importance of creating a positive first impression
  • Enjoys building genuine relationships with clients
  • Has experience working with animals (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Is confident using computer systems and learning new software
  • Has excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Can manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure
  • Is reliable, accountable, and enjoys being part of a team
  • Communicates clearly, professionally, and empathetically
  • Takes initiative and enjoys helping others
