Located in South Ari Atoll, less than 20 minutes from Velana International Airport by domestic flight. The Dive Center Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by managing the daily reception operations of the dive center. This role ensures smooth administration of bookings, guest enquiries, equipment reservations, retail sales, and coordination of daily activities while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in accordance with diveOceanus and Resort policies

•Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive firstimpression of the dive center.

•Handle guest enquiries in person, by telephone, email, and messagingplatforms.

•Process reservations for diving, snorkeling, excursions, and equipmentrentals.

•Register guests and ensure all liability forms and required documentation are completed accurately.

•Prepare daily booking schedules and activity manifests.

•Coordinate daily activities with instructors, Marine Biologist, Divemaster,boat crews, and other resort departments.

•Process daily billing and handover bills to casher department to after crosschecking with department head.

•Maintain accurate reservation records and guest profiles.

•Promote and upsell dive courses, excursions, snorkeling activities,equipment rentals, and retail merchandise.

•Issue and receive rental equipment while maintaining accurate inventoryrecords.

•Monitor availability of rental equipment and coordinate with operationalstaff.

•Attend daily dive center briefings and operational meetings.

•Assist with guest events, promotional activities, and special functionsorganized by diveOceanus.

•Maintain excellent communication with Front Office, Guest Relations,Transport, and other resort departments.

•Ensure reception and guest waiting areas remain clean, organized,and welcoming at all times

Qualifications

• GCE O-Level or equivalent.
  
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
  
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google domain applications).
  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
