Make an impact with our Administration team as a Receptionist. This diverse team of professionals directly contributes to the success of the firm by supporting internal and external clients. As a trusted advisor, you’ll ensure the efficient and effective operation of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Courteously receive and screen all incoming calls and emails
  • Perform a variety of administrative and clerical office support activities for multiple staff ensuring timely adherence to deadlines
  • Process documents related to insolvency filings
  • Greet, assist and direct all visitors in a professional manner
  • Schedule appointments with clients
  • Open, close, organize and maintain insolvency files
  • Create, format, assemble and proofread drafts
  • Maintain all incoming and outgoing courier packages and mail
  • Provide general admin support to consultants, managers and partners
  • Uphold electronic and paper filing systems
  • Scan and E-file documents
  • Prepare letters, as directed, using template letter formats
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Communicate and coordinate with the team regarding client service work and the flow of information
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members
  • Schedule team meetings
  • Assist with tax assembly and processing as required

Skills and Experience

  • Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in an administrative or support position
  • Experience working in a Professional Services environment, in insolvency, is considered an asset
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in answering and directing customer phone calls through a phone system in a professional, courteous manner
  • Understanding of Microsoft Outlook and ability to learn internal databases is an asset
