Receptionist-Building Support

8 hours per day, 40 hours per week � 174 days per year
Start and end times: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

The purpose of this position is to be the first contact person for all visitors to the high school. The Receptionist/Building Support staff assists administrators by enforcing the security of the building and personnel. Support Staff assists with study halls, in-school suspension, and detention. Building Support staff will also monitor student behavior in school, hallways and parking lots. Collaborates with other team members/staff and works well with high school students. This position is also responsible for all attendance procedures in the building by working directly and indirectly with students, staff and parents. This position also supports the staff ad administration with all copying needs.
Position Requirements:
1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. PC & Mac Knowledge.
3. Ability to use Microsoft Office and be proficient with the following programs: Excel; Word; and Powerpoint.
4. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
5. Excellent oral and written communication, proofreading and organizational skills.
6. Strong interpersonal skills.
7. Performs general clerical duties and record-keeping tasks as requested by the Principal.

Salary and benefits in accord with the Agreement with the Lakeville Educational Assistants Federation.
Position classified LEAF B-2-1, starting salary $19.85 - $24.05 per hour depending on experience
