The Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club is looking for a friendly, confident and guest-focused Part-Time Receptionist to join our Front Office team.

Our Reception team is at the heart of the hotel. From welcoming guests on arrival to helping with special requests, answering questions and ensuring everything runs smoothly, you’ll play an important part in creating memorable experiences from the moment our guests walk through the door.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

About the Role

This is a part-time position working 3–4 days per week.

As hospitality is a seven-day operation, full flexibility is essential for this role. The successful candidate must be available to work a variety of shifts across weekdays, weekends, mornings and evenings, depending on the needs of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Reception team, you will:

• Give every guest a warm, friendly and professional welcome.
• Carry out guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Assist with reservations, guest queries and special requests.
• Process payments and ensure billing information is accurate.
• Answer telephone calls and provide helpful, knowledgeable assistance.
• Work closely with departments across the hotel to ensure our guests have a seamless experience.
• Take ownership of guest queries and help find solutions wherever possible.
• Keep the Reception and Front Desk area organised and welcoming.
• Follow hotel procedures while consistently delivering our high standards of service.
• Bring positive energy to the team and contribute to a supportive working environment.

What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have previous experience in a Reception, Front Office or customer-facing role; hotel experience is an advantage.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Are confident, professional and comfortable engaging with a wide range of guests.
• Can remain organised and calm while managing several tasks at once.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting colleagues across different departments.
• Have experience using hotel reservation systems such as Hotsoft or SiteMinder – this would be an advantage.
• Are passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Are fully flexible to work across different days and shift times, including weekends and evenings.
