The Receptionist is responsible for delivering professional front-of-house and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Kerry site.

The role acts as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, contractors, suppliers, and job candidates while coordinating reception activities, document management, mail and courier services, visitor administration, meeting support, office supplies, facilities coordination, and compliance-related administrative processes.

The position contributes to a positive employee and visitor experience, supports site security and data protection requirements, and helps maintain an organized, professional, and compliant workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors, customers, contractors, auditors, and candidates.
  • Manage visitor registration, badges, access procedures, and visitor records.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, courier services, and postal deliveries.
  • Coordinate conference room preparation and meeting support.
  • Provide administrative support to HR, Finance, Operations, Quality, and other departments.
  • Maintain document filing, archiving, and records management processes.
  • Monitor office supplies, refreshments, and common area standards.
  • Coordinate suppliers, cleaning services, maintenance requests, and facility-related issues.
  • Support recruitment activities and candidate visits.
  • Assist with employee services, benefits information, and site communications.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, security rules, GDPR requirements, and visitor control processes.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Office Coordinator, Customer Service, or similar support role.
  • Experience interacting with visitors, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in document administration, records management, or office support activities.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, corporate, or shared services environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience handling confidential information and following administrative procedures.
