Salary: R23 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a remote Receptionist for a UK-based business. You will be the first point of contact for callers and visitors to the inbox, handling enquiries, routing messages and keeping the diary tidy. Everything is done from home, working 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST).

A remote reception role still needs the same things a front desk does: a calm manner, good judgement about who needs what, and the discipline to keep nothing waiting. If you are the person who always answers on time and never loses a message, you will do well here.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and route them to the right person
• Monitor and triage the main inbox, replying to routine enquiries
• Take clear messages and follow up until they are actioned
• Manage meeting bookings and send calendar invitations
• Keep contact records and simple internal logs up to date
• Support the wider team with light administrative tasks

What you will need

• Clear, polite spoken and written English
• Experience with reception, front desk, customer service or admin work
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook or Google Workspace
• Good attention to detail and a tidy approach to messages and diaries
• A reliable internet connection, a working laptop and a quiet space to take calls
• Availability across UK business hours
