About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca,astheReceptionist, you willbe responsible forensuring a flawless check-in/check-out process.
AsReceptionist, you willbe responsible forthe following duties:
Ensure smooth and efficient guest arrivals and departures.
Provide attentive service and address guest needs throughout their stay.
Handle reception-related paperwork, booking systems, and guest records.
Perform othertasks asassigned by the Front Office Manager.
Answer calls and emails, provideinformationandassistingwith guest requests.
Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge to ensure guest satisfaction.
Manage guest payments, issue invoices, and handle billing inquiries.
Follow hotel security procedures, including verifying guest identification and safeguarding personal data.
Handle and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a professional andtimelymanner.
Ensure the reception area is clean, welcoming, and organized.
To perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Front Office Manager.
AsReceptionist, we expect from you:
Experience and education
Previousexperience in the same role is preferred.
Technical Skills
Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (additionallanguages are a plus).
Willingness and flexibility to work in shifts (day, afternoon, and night).
Well-groomed appearance, adhering to the hotel's grooming standards.
Basic IT skills, with solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity of hotel management systems (e.g., HMS, Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS)
