Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Welcome residents, families, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and warmth.
  • Answer and direct multi-line phone calls efficiently and courteously.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and forward mail for discharged residents.
  • Assist with general office responsibilities, including typing, filing, copying, and other administrative tasks.
  • Collect guest fees, maintain records, and assist with conference room reservations.
  • Deliver newspapers to residents.
  • Transport residents as directed by the Administrator or management team.
  • Provide excellent customer service while supporting residents, visitors, and fellow team members.

Qualifications

  • Experience answering multi-line telephone systems required.
  • Previous office or receptionist experience required.
  • Good typing skills and computer proficiency required; Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with office equipment, including copiers and other business machines, preferred.
  • Ability to interact professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
