Receptionist | Workforce Development
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 12:30 PM–6:30 PM, Friday 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
About the Role
We’re seeking a professional, dependable Receptionist to create a welcoming first impression while keeping daily office operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-facing environment and excels at organization and multitasking.
What You’ll Do
• Serve as the first point of contact—greet visitors and manage building access with professionalism
• Answer, screen, and route incoming calls; respond to general inquiries in person, by phone, and via email
• Manage incoming mail and distribute promptly
• Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, document prep, and meeting room scheduling
• Maintain office organization and supply inventory; place orders as needed
What You Bring
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment in a busy environment
Work Environment & Requirements
• Office setting with moderate noise
• Ability to sit for extended periods and operate standard office equipment
• Regular, reliable attendance is essential
