The opportunity:
The Receptionist plays a critical role in delivering Cresco’s high-touch, client-first experience. As the first point of contact with clients and visitors, this position sets the tone for every interaction, ensuring a warm, professional, and polished welcome while instilling confidence from the moment someone enters the office. Beyond front-desk responsibilities, the Receptionist provides essential administrative support, manages daily office flow, and acts as a central point of coordination for the team. This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and accountability, directly contributing to the efficiency of operations and the consistent delivery of exceptional client experience.
Key responsibilities include:
• Welcome clients and visitors as the first point of contact, delivering a warm, professional, and polished experience both in person and over the phone; ensure all inquiries are handled promptly or directed to the appropriate team member
• Answer and manage incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency, accurately fielding inquiries and directing them to the appropriate team member to ensure a seamless client experience
• Drive meeting coordination by booking client review meetings, preparing meeting rooms, and leading calendar coordination across several schedules
• Take ownership of front-of-office operations and perform additional duties as required to ensure a seamless client experience
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries, ensuring timely distribution
• Support basic banking activities, including deposits and other routine transactions, with accuracy and accountability
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients, staff, and external partners
• Contribute to a positive office environment by supporting team initiatives and assisting with special projects or tasks as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Post-secondary education in business administration, office management, or a related field is an asset
• 1-3 years’ experience in receptionist role
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite, especially Outlook and Teams.
• Delivers a consistently polished, professional, and welcoming experience as the first point of contact, setting the tone for all client interactions
• Excellent attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service
• Demonstrates a high level of accountability, adaptability, and innovation in achieving both day-to-day responsibilities and long-term goals
• Highly organized with a consistent and reliable work ethic
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage a high volume of competing priorities.
• Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
