ReceptionistPBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Receptionist to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.
This position works under general direction and provides receptionist and administrative support to the Corporate office and their management.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer all calls and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner, forward calls as appropriate.
Greet visitors, vendors, and clients, ensuring clients are escorted by appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Receive incoming mail and packages.
Assist with meeting planning, including scheduling internal and external meetings and events.
Manage conference room booking requests.
Provide administrative support, including document preparation, spreadsheet creation in Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint presentations.
Prepare and reconcile expense reports.
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
Handle the stocking of supplies for FedEx and kitchen areas; ensure all kitchens and common areas are adequately stocked.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate purchasing requests as needed.
Manage vendor and supplier relationships to support business objectives.
Assist team members with various projects and assignments.
Perform occasional offsite errands in support of organizational needs.
Manage daily workload with flexibility and adaptability.
Serve as backup receptionist for the second floor, fulfilling all associated responsibilities.
Provide back-up support for administrative staff as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered. College degree preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships, including interaction with all levels of management, up to and including C-level executives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Maintains a polished and professional appearance appropriate for a front office environment in accordance with the Company’s business casual dress code
Ability to work an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $ 21.23- $ 33.96 The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate’s compensation. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases. In addition to salary, PBF offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes bonus eligibility, health care, retirement benefits, and paid time off.
