Looking for a stable, full-time office role where you can grow? ServiceMaster by GBS is hiring a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and to support our operations team day to day. What you'll actually do

  • Answer and direct incoming calls — professionally and promptly
  • Communicate with clients, adjusters, and vendors via phone and email
  • Support the operations coordinator with day-to-day tasks
  • Help keep the office organized and running smoothly
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and administrative tasks as needed
  • Represent ServiceMaster by GBS with professionalism in every interaction

What we're looking for

  • Strong communication skills — both on the phone and in writing
  • Computer savvy — comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and learning new tools
  • Organized and detail-oriented — you keep things in order without being asked
  • Team player — you support the people around you and understand that everyone wins together
  • Problem solver — when something comes up, you figure it out instead of waiting for someone to fix it for you
  • Professional and personable — you represent the company well in every interaction
  • Reliable — shows up on time and follows through
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Spanish speaker is a plus

Experience

No restoration experience required. Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus. What matters most is that you're dependable, professional, and willing to show up and do the job right every day.

Compensation

$50,000–$60,000 based on experience. We reward reliability and growth.

Schedule & location

Full-time | Monday–Friday | 9AM–5PM | Valley Stream, NY. Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance and have reliable transportation.
