We are looking for friendly, professional Receptionists to join The Villa Wrea Green. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
Working within the Front Office team, you’ll support the day-to-day running of reception, ensuring smooth operations across guest services, reservations, and administration while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Welcome guests, visitors, and contractors with a warm and professional approach
Deliver efficient and accurate check-in and check-out processes
Handle guest enquiries in person, via telephone, and email promptly and courteously
Provide information about the hotel, facilities, local area, and events
Take and manage bedroom and venue bookings using internal systems
Maintain accurate guest records and administrative documentation
Assist with general administrative duties within the reception function
Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfil guest requests
Support the presentation and organisation of the reception area
Follow company procedures, health & safety guidelines, and confidentiality standards
Process payments and handle billing queries in line with company policies
Carry out basic cash handling and end-of-shift procedures
Respond to complaints and feedback professionally, escalating when appropriate
Friendly, professional, and well-presented
Strong communication and customer service skills
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Calm under pressure with the ability to handle situations tactfully
Confident using IT systems, email, and booking platforms
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Flexible to work shifts over 5 days out of 7
Previous experience in a receptionist, hospitality, or customer-facing role
Experience managing reservations and processing guest payments
Knowledge of local attractions and hospitality standards
Mill Farm is a multi-million pound Sports Village and the new home to the rising football team AFC Fylde. Located a stone’s throw from Junction 3 of the M55, Mill Farm is a state of the art 6,000 seater stadium and also home to; Bradleys Sports Bar, Milano’s Mediterranean Restaurant, Churchill’s Events, Aroma Cafe and several 3G football and hockey pitches.
Also on site is a new Aldi store, a Euro Garages petrol station, convenience store, hotel and other shops. All in all over 500 people are expected to be employed on site.
