We are seeking a motivated and personable Receptionist to manage front-desk functions in a fully virtual environment. This fully remote role is ideal for someone who is well-presented, highly organised, and committed to creating a great first impression for every caller and visitor.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and calls for the team
- Manage shared inboxes and route correspondence to the correct departments
- Greet and assist virtual visitors via video call platforms
- Maintain accurate contact lists, digital records, and filing systems
- Assist with general administrative tasks including data entry and document preparation
- Ensure all interactions reflect the professional standards of the organisation
Qualifications and Experience
- 1+ year of experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or administrative role
- Friendly and professional communication style — both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Reliable home office setup with stable internet connection
- Presentable and confident on video calls when required
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Calendly or Google Calendar is advantageous
- Matric certificate required
Salary: R25,000/month | 100% Remote
