The Team

Established in 2000, our Milan office provides a wide range of transactional and regulatory advice to national and multinational corporations, banks and financial institutions, insurance companies and private equity funds, as well as entrepreneurs across many sectors. We also represent clients in domestic and international disputes.

We have dedicated teams in banking and finance, corporate and M&A, antitrust, dispute resolution and litigation and employment law. Our lawyers in Milan are well-known for their pragmatic, commercial and business-oriented style, as well as specific industry knowledge. We have Italian- and English-qualified lawyers based in Milan who deliver Italian, pan-European and global legal advisory services.

The successful candidate will work as part of a highly motivated secretarial team to provide professional, proactive, high level secretarial and PA support to an antitrust partner and an allocated group of fee earners within the wider fee earning team.

The Role

Our Milan office is seeking a Receptionist to join the Office Services & Facilities team on a maternity cover This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and colleagues, ensuring a high‑quality and professional experience both in person and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and meeting area
  • Manage the main switchboard: answer, screen, and route calls and messages
  • Register visitors and issue temporary access badges
  • Coordinate meeting rooms and provide general meeting support (copies, scans, videoconferences, catering)
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail, couriers, and reception logs (visitors, NDAs, postal records)
  • Book taxis, restaurants, and services for guests and visiting staff
  • Arrange desk/office bookings, filing (paper and digital), and oversee the internal library
  • Provide ad‑hoc support to Secretaries and Office Services and handle additional operational tasks as needed

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in reception or administrative roles preferred
  • Professional, client‑focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Organised, reliable, and discreet with confidential information
  • Flexible team player, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Fluent Italian and English
