The Role: Receptionist

As the first point of contact for guests, you will be the face of the lodgeensuring that every arrival, stay, and departure is seamless. This role combines guest interaction, administrative precision, and coordination across departments to deliver service that exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage guest check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally.

• Handle telephone, email, and in-person enquiries with courtesy and care.

• Coordinate room reservations and liaise with departments to meet guest needs.

• Maintain accurate records and booking information in the property management system.

• Provide local insights and assist guests with recommendations or special requests.

• Uphold the brand's reputation for elegance, discretion, and exceptional service.

About You

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a 5-star hotel reception or similar high-end hospitality environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in reservations and property management systems (knowledge of Benson advantageous).

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure.

• Trustworthy, reliable, and committed to creating memorable guest experiences.

• Presentable and professional at all times, with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
