Your part in our UnitingCare Community team
The purpose of this role is to deliver a range of reception and administrative functions to support the UCQ Hervey Bay site office.
As the Receptionist, you will provide exceptional customer service including greeting clients and maintaining a welcoming and tidy reception/waiting area. You will undertake a range of reception and admin duties to a high standard including:
Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls
Monitoring site email box and responding/forwarding to enquiries as required
Maintaining files/records
Processing incoming/outgoing mail
Maintenance requests for the site office
Ordering of stationery and other consumables
Assist with financial duties including processing invoices and reconciliation of credit card transactions
Support office open/closure procedures
Support WH&S requirements and compliance for the site office
What makes a difference for us
The successful candidate will present with the following:
Minimal 2 years’ experience in performing reception/administration duties
Certificate II in Business administration or equivalent
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Sound Microsoft Suite skills and knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to act professionally at all times and work under pressure
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
Ability to liaise with a diverse range of people with discretion and confidentiality
