Job Description

  • Position: Part Time Receptionist
  • Location: Roseville, MN
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm

Job responsibilities include:

  • Politely and professionally answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Greets and welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, announces visitors to appropriate staff member and assists in any way possible. When needed, generates and hands out completion certificates and occasionally processes payment for education classes.
  • Monitors visitor access and issues visitor badges when required.
  • Takes payments for services and products, signs for incoming deliveries.
  • Receives, sorts and routes all incoming mail, mails correspondence and bulk mailings when necessary.
  • Coordinates service calls and supply orders for major office equipment i.e. mailing machine etc.
  • Assists with maintaining on-call schedule and communicating changes to answering service.
  • Provides back up administrative support to all PHS staff, including special projects as assigned.
  • Orders office supplies for all departments, as needed.
  • Assists in conducting research, compiling data, preparing copies and forms, filing and typing business documents. Also assists in the production of education materials.
  • Manages the online company store, including processing orders and communication to staff.
  • Assists Outreach Manager in managing physician contact information in database.

To qualify you must have a warm and welcoming personality, excellent phone and superior customer service skills. Recent Receptionist and MS Office Suite experience a plus. Associate's degree and/or one year of experience is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
