Casual Dental Receptionist | 1300SMILES Smithfield

Are you an experienced Dental Receptionist looking for a flexible casual opportunity with a supportive and established team?

At 1300SMILES Smithfield, we're seeking a confident and customer-focused Casual Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced dental environment, enjoys building rapport with patients, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy practice.

• Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and patient enquiries.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently.
• Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Support the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient journey.
• Assist with general administrative and reception duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist in a dental practice.
• Experience using dental practice management software (Dental4Windows, Exact, or similar).
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
• A positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work casual shifts as required.

Availability Requirement:

• Available to be rostered between 8:00am and 5:30pm
• Able to work occasional Saturdays as part of a rotating roster.
