Job Description

Teaching Tomorrow are working with a primary school in High Wycombe who need a Reception class teacher on a full-time basis immediately.

This is the perfect opportunity for a reception teacher to cover a maternity teaching post in High Wycombe at a good school, full-time.

Teaching Tomorrow is an agency with a great reputation within Buckinghamshire and have a strong relationship with a number of primary schools, ensuring great support throughout the process.

This primary school requires a full-time teacher until July 2027 and this will include planning and marking responsibilities. This is a great role for a KS1 teacher who is looking for stability, while providing great education for children in their local communities.

This role would be perfect for a fully qualified teacher, who has lower Key Stage 1 experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
  • Reception teaching experience
  • Must be available five days a week
  • Comfortable teaching lessons across the national UK curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students

Responsibilities:

  • Cover and deliver engaging lessons for Reception class pupils
  • Support student learning and development
  • Maintain accurate records as required
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Contribute to the positive learning environment
