Communication Center Supervisor

The Communication Center is the hub of our campus. As the Communication Center Supervisor, you'll lead a team responsible for keeping communication flowing, supporting staff and visitors, coordinating daily operations, and responding to campus needs. This role combines leadership, customer service, organization, and problem-solving to ensure the Communication Center operates efficiently every day.

What You'll Do

• Supervise, train, schedule, and support Communication Center staff.
• Conduct employee coaching, performance evaluations, and ongoing development.
• Lead monthly team meetings and participate in leadership meetings.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and excellent customer service.
• Monitor and respond to campus radio communications, including emergency requests.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail distribution.
• Manage office supply ordering and inventory while maintaining department budgets.
• Oversee youth luggage and personal belongings returned from visits, ensuring required safety and contraband checks are completed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Communication Center.
• Assist with administrative projects and perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of administrative, receptionist, or office support experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Comfortable using multi-line phone systems and standard office equipment.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
